Mexico Middle School presents ‘The Wizard of Oz’ as fall play

Students of Mexico Middle School will be following the yellow brick road and off to see the wizard this weekend and bringing audiences along.
The youth edition of “The Wizard of Oz” will be staged by students from Mexico Middle School on Friday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 16 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Tickets will be available for $5 each at the show, which will be held in the middle school auditorium.
The show is directed and choreographed by Corinne Upcraft, with Rebecca Smith assistant directing and providing vocal direction.
